Other MERP ideas

It seems that with Gondor and Arnor and their surrounding lands (NW Middle Earth), on the one hand, and Ormal Bay, on the other, that the 'Western' and 'Classical' cultural tendencies are more or less separated here but yet have an influence which goes back to a common origin, which is interesting. This is because Gondor, Arnor and the Northmen seem Western. Anarikani and Lynir are clearly more Greco-Roman.

So for the history of Ormal Bay, it looks as though there is both a Mesopotamian and Indian-style culture life before the coming of the Numenoreans, and a Classical style one after that which takes root in certain areas and at some point embraces all or most of the area. By the end of the Third Age we could see a Magian/Islamic style power at its latest stage.
