Novite Eras I’ve Planned
1000s – High feudal culture and intrigue, population expansion, flourishing economy and arts. Consolidation of realms ensues. Starting 1050 the Ethengar invasions begin.
1100s – This era sees the rise of the Eastern Plague and the population is decimated.
1200s – The explosion of knowledge begins in Tyr, though population is lower than before Almaren’s standards of living again begin to rise. Fall of the Empire of Thyatis to the Empire of Great Hule. Thyatis’s legacy is claimed by the princes of Orekhovo, who use it as an excuse to found the Empire of Vos.
1300s – Creed Reformers challenge the Pantheon’s decrees and break off into rival sects which denounce the central Pantheonic order. A series of religious wars take place as several states reject Pantheon doctrine while other nations become fanatical in their devotion to the Pantheon. Mormelar embarks on a global policy of colonial empire with a more aggressive strategy than the conservative one held by the
1400s – Almaren still racked with religious wars. Novani, Omikhani and Eldani come together in a joint venture of enlightenment – there is a large boom in technology as a result. With the ascension of Alwin of Orielon to the throne of Allon, the country becomes beholden to the pernicious influence of the Ashbys and their Syndicate. Limellia and Allon begin to take part in colonial policies.
1500s – An era of greatly expanding knowledge but also the forces of the technocrats have now been let loose. The empires of Allon, Limellia, Vos and others compete on a global scale. Cartels of plutocrats have heavy influence in the Western countries. Allon wins sole possession of Annuvia after a war with Limellia. The Annuvians and Almareni settlers revolt and win their “independence.” Limellia collapses in anarchy after a bloody civil war and is replaced by the military dictatorship of Peregrine.
